I set up FineArt4Kids! in 2006 because I was inspired from a young age having won an art competition in school which spurred me on to pursue the arts throughout my education. I am dyslexic and art has always been an incredible outlet and influence in everything I do and I want other children to experience the joy that art has brought to me. I would like children to realise that being creative is a wonderful talent that needs to be nurtured.
I want children to take an interest in fine art from an early age and the best way, I felt was to start them on the journey, was to take inspiration from the Great Masters of Art just as I did.
Your child will go on a journey of exploration in a fun environment, introducing them to techniques such as line, tone, shape, space, colour, perspective and form and many more.
All materials are of exceptional quality, using brand names such as Winsor and Newton and Daler Rowney.
Whatever their stage of development, children benefit enormously from guidance in art sessions, your child will gradually gain confidence in their abilities by not only teaching them the skills, but also by allowing them to make their own responses and decisions within the artwork itself. Through experimentation and a considered approach, your child will also increase their level of concentration and relaxation.
